Cursor Snowflakes is a lightweight and fun software utility developed in order to provide you with a means of getting into the winter mood, even when working on your computer.

The application is very easy to work with and it requires no installation, you just unzip the package, launch it and you are done. At the next move of your mouse, you will notice tiny snowflakes falling on your desktop. The more energetic your movements are, the bigger the snowflakes.

Cursor Snowflakes runs minimized in the system tray, enabling you to access it whenever you want to adjust its options or simply exit. From the corresponding menu and submenus, you can adjust the speed of the snowflakes, so they can fall at a 'Normal', 'Slow' or 'Fast' speed.

Moreover, you can set the snowflakes to appear 'Always On Top', so regardless of the windows or applications that you are working with, you will still be able to enjoy the wintery feel of your screen. Additionally, Cursor Snowflakes allows you to set the transparency level for the falling snowflakes, ranging from 0% to 90%, depending on what you prefer. Aside from these options, there is little else you can customize. For instance, the size of the snowflakes is set by default, so you cannot increase or decrease it.

Being a portable utility, you can carry it with you wherever you go, on a USB drive and use it on any computer, either at home or at work. This also means that Cursor Snowflakes creates no registry entries and you can remove it from your system simply by deleting the containing folder.
